Fire technical investigations
Since the fire disaster in Kaprun in 2000 our LKT team is doing extensive research on flame and fire protection of plastics. For this purpose multiple possibilities for additivation, compounding, and material and component testing are available.
In order to achieve the best possible result for your application, we also include the expertise of our well-known cooperation partners if necessary (including the Department of Plastics and Environmental Technology of the State Research Institute, Chair of Chemistry at the Montanuniversität Leoben). Because when it comes to safety in the fire area, we don’t let anything burn.
